Indonesia[RAISE 2023 IATMI SM UPN] Fracturing Fluid Design Competition
Fracturing Fluid Design Competition is the main event of RAISE 2023 which is an annual event organized by IATMI UPN Veteran Yogyakarta. This event is a competition between engineering students throughout Indonesia. This competition challenges participants to design the optimal fracturing fluid according to the given case. Each team will present its results and findings directly to the jury including performance feasibility, environmental impacts and economic considerations.
This year's FFDC has the theme "Integrated Digital Fracturing: Unveiling the Power of Synergistic Technologies for Optimal Impact".
General Rules
- Fracturing Fluid Design Competition RAISE 2023 is aimed at active undergraduate students at universities throughout Indonesia as proven by a valid student identification card.
- Fracturing Fluid Design Competition RAISE 2023 will be held virtually/online via the zoom platform.
- Participants must form a team consisting of three (3) members from the same university (different majors are allowed).
- Each participant can only be a member of one team.
- There is no limit for each university in sending team representatives.
- Team members are not allowed to be replaced after the registration form is submitted.
- Fracturing Fluid Design Competition RAISE 2023 consists of 2 selection stages, namely the preliminary stage (full paper or final report) and the final stage (presentation).
- All document files, presentations and verbal communications for the competition must be done in Indonesian.
- All entries and administrative documents will become the property of RAISE 2023 and will not be returned.
- Competition rules may change, any changes to the rules, clarifications or agenda will be announced to all participants via email or during the technical meeting.
- If the team does not comply with the rules, format, and there is a delay in sending, they can receive points deductions or even disqualification.
- The judges' decision will be final.
- If cheating occurs, disqualification will be declared.

- Batch 1: September 13 - September 24, 2023
- Batch 2: September 25 - October 8, 2023
Case is released: October 9, 2023
Report Submission: October 23, 2023
Finalist Announcement: October 30, 2023
PPT Submission: October 30 to November 3, 2023
Technical Meeting: November 2, 2023
Grand Final Presentation: November 4, 2023
