Procedures of Final Project Guidance
- Students submit the advisor’s distribution letter to the lecturer concerned
- Students consult on the title of the Final Project
- Students prepare a proposal by consultation with the Final Project advisor
- After the proposal is approved by the supervisor, the student submits the Final Project to the company/laboratory. For this application, students need an Application Letter and Final Project Certificate at the company/laboratory from the Petroleum Engineering Department. The letter is made by filling out an e-form (https://bit.ly/Surat-TA). The document that must be prepared is a scan of the proposal that has been approved by the advisor in .pdf form
- Students send proposals and cover letters that have been issued by the department. Students are only allowed to submit to one Final Project destination per submission.
- For students who receive a rejection from the target company, they are expected to attach proof of rejection to submit the Application Letter and Certificate
- Students who have received a Final Project call from the company, report proof of the Final Project call at the company to the Petroleum Engineering Department Administration to obtain an Assignment Letter.
- After completing data collection at the company/laboratory, students show proof of completion of the Final Project data collection process from the field/laboratory to the advisor
- Students carry out the process of supervising the preparation of a thesis or scientific article that will be published until completion
- For students who write scientific articles, they are required to make a report on the results of the development of their scientific journal (thesis report but shorter in the format of the Department);
- Every time you carry out consultation, students are required to fill out a consultation note
- Students consult with their advisor either face-to-face (offline)/online regularly, intensively and continuously at least 8 (eight) meetings or a maximum of 2 (two) weeks per semester until declared complete by the advisor
